A note about Wilderness Films:

In 2002 we operationalized the first High Definition camera in north
India, with our new Sony HDW F900 HDCAM camcorder. We now have a range of Canon Hi Def lenses (among them several HJ21 and HJ11 as well as the longest portable lens in the world - the HJ40X14), a Hi Def HDCAM Sony recorder and another HDCAM camera, a HD post-production solution, and a package to create an entire feature film on HD, from concept to master... More recently, we're also pushing HDV as a low-cost HD option.

Apart from Hi Def, we have over a dozen Digi Beta cameras now,
including new DVW 790WSP's and VTR's for the following formats - Beta SX PAL & NTSC, Digi Beta NTSC & PAL, Beta SP PAL & NTSC, Betacam PAL & NTSC, IMX PAL and NTSC.

We're currently setting up India's first factual programming outlet.
We are also developing a global stock footage and stills sales portal, utilizing our stills and video archive.

Our recent debut on Google Video has provided us with a very powerful global platform to reach our content to a worldwide audience, even as it opens up fresh consumer and educational avenues, apart from a strengthening of the broadcast market that we have always been a part of! We currently have hundreds of hours of content online, and are adding on 14 hours per week, and will indefinitely continue to do so.

Do visit www.video.google.com and punch in 'Wilderness Films India' in the search box.

More recently, our feature film 'We're No Monks' was premiered
internationally on Google Video as well and is currently available for
download (punch in "No Monks" in the search box), a sign of our
submission to this new medium of distribution, and a sign of things to come - IPTV, VOD and what have you!

Sincerely,
Rupin Dang
