Dance Forms:

Indian dance forms: Mohiniattam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali, Bharatanatyam, and more. We have a specialized collection on the dances of the Indian states, such as from Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan (Kalbelia dance of the snake people) and Madhya Pradesh. We have extensive collections on the dance forms of Nepal and Bhutan.

Siddhis originally came from Sudan, as salt workers, many centuries ago. Today, they have become Indian citizens and live in the natural forest habitat of the Asiatic Lion at Gir in Gujarat. The Siddhis have retained their African features, culture, music and dance, despite having added on Hindi as their main language, Indian customs and habits, apart from Indian passports, lifestyles and jobs. We have a unique collection on their music and dance forms, perhaps never recorded before in such a way.
